    We might be better bringing back in the strict trade laws recently removed.  (greed being the suspected motive).  Such laws made piracy pretty much obsolete!
        But of course traders want more money, the media benefits with more shocking news, and the police get crimes they can be seen to be solving!  -And so the news has become more like a soap opera.
    I think therefore the answer to will 'we' is most likely no.  To your question 'should we...' is perhaps a matter for personal conscience.

    Somalia has not had a working government in 18 years ... Somalia needs help not military intervention. People need oportunities, food, infrastructure, not to be attacked with deadly force ...
      Being a pirate is not a daily fun exercise ... they have nothing else to do (except starving). People need a different choice to move away from crime.
