What do you look for or consider when voting for a candidate?
What's the first thing you look at? What's most important?
True conservative values like complete personal responsibility.
If they come from wealth, then they will never get my vote.
One thing to always remember: policies over parties. Pay mind to the values and philosophies of the candidates -- do not merely be satisfied by a particular political affiliation.
6.Pass a psychological exam from an Independent source.
7.Who is donating to his campaign.
An extraordinary job requires extraordinary qualities. Intelligence is number one in my book. Genius level IQ or pretty close is preferable. Extensive higher education.
Well honestly I look for those who are trying to reduce the size of government. I also think it is important to find a candidate that supports the gold standard as well as abolishing the Federal Reserve.
I found Ron Paul.
I check their background but I'm more inclined to pencil in a candidate that shares my core values.
A disposition toward common sense thinking. If what the candidate has to say about particular issues just does not add up, then I become skeptical right away. In this day and time, it is rare that we get a political candidate on either side of the aisle who follows up on their promises and who actually understands what they are promising when they promise it. Common sense and honesty mixed with an attitude of let's do what's right for America catches my eye. WB
