What were the real reasons why Rudolf Hess flew to Scotland in 1941?
Why did the deputy of the Nazi party really fly to Scotland in 1942 or was it just to try negotiate peace with the Allies?
Actually there are a flood of rumors floating about as to why this trip actually took place. Some, as you point out, believe Hess was on a secret mission to negogiate a peaceful settlement with the Allied Powers which would allow Hitler the opportunity to stay in power and continue to cover his hideous deeds such as his treatment of the Jews. Hess, it seems was the man entrusted with this mission. While historians would like to believe this much rumored approach, new information has recently come to light indicating that Hess simply made the trip for purely personal reasons. It seems that Hess suffered from an abornormally acute case of hemmoroids and and could get no relief from his condition from the Nazi medical teams. As the story goes, a crack Scottish proctologist residing in Scotland had come up with a totally new technique that was revolutionizing the practice of hemmoroid science. Hess, upon hearing of this miracle procedure, consulted with Hitler and the two of them were totally convinced that if Hess could fly to Scotland and successfully undergo the new surgical procedure it would allow him to get his mind off his ass and back on the war. As it worked it, the protologist was truly a genius and purposely botched the surgery at the request of several secret British agents who were hovering closely by observing the process. In the end, Hess returned to Germany with a bandaged butt thinking that the pain and suffering of his former days was literally behind him now. As it worked out, he was mistaken and the destractions which his new rear caused him in the future was enough to bring down the entire Nazi Movement and send Hitler into his bunker with is fraulein. The rest is simply history. WB

Why some writers don't use their real name for online writing? Is there anything wrong in sharing our real name with others?
