   What can we do to get 'Peace on Earth'?
   
   I wrote a 13 word poem on a community, a while ago and started a debate. 
   
   I had an answer for the question above (What can we do to get 'Peace on Earth'?), at least I thought I did.  I received some really great arguments to make me think twice about it.  See Poem below:
   
   "World Peace will only begin
   When the love for all things finally ends."
   
   I want to know what you think?

   Love one another, stop all this war within your family and your friends.  Every one on this earth is brother and sister.  We shouldn't have any hate or crime just be together as one. And unity for ALL..........

   Believe ...  That , individually and collectively, all of us are answerable to God, for what we "do" with our lives ...
   
   Believe, that we, are directly responsible for all our Actions in this worldly life.
   
   Believe ... That, no son, shall be punished for the sin of his father ... nor the father, punished for the sin, of his son ...
   
   And what you say about love for all 'things' ending, bringing peace ... it still remains a matter of 'things' ... the pacifist approach of Buddhism, to a Material Reality !
   
   Because ... There is much more to life than ... just "things" ...
   The most important thing, if at all things are important ... is to be a good Human ... to be, what our Creator wants us to be.

   I think John Lennon answered this many years ago in the song "Imagine"... Remove religion, remove country boundries, remove posessions, put an end to hunger and greed... It will never happen though...

   People do not go to war with one another. They have to be 'led' into war. Furthermore, 'leaders' always lead us into war on the back of a lie: this has been proven time and time again. Ergo - if we get rid of all the 'leaders' - we can get rid of war.
   
   What is more, politicians: our 'leaders', do not run countries on a day-by-day basis. This is undertaken by civil servants/administrators. All politicians do is formulate policy.
   
   Using computers as opinion gathering tools - running rolling referenda - we can develop political systems where policy is directly dictated by the people. Policy is then actioned by administrators. If they fail to enact the will of the people we simply sack the administrators.
   
   We run these political systems under a framework of universal human rights. All laws enacted by the system are subsumed under this bill of rights.
   
   If we adopt this system of direct democracy we will have consigned war to the dustbin of history.
   
   If you think you live in a democracy - right now - you are wrong: you do not. My latest hub explains why.

   Countries need to stop trying to control other countries. Just because a country has a resource we want, does not mean that that resource should be ours.

   By being love, being peace, being free from within ourselves and with one another. This will bring Peace on Earth for Humanity. Just be this in your daily life with others and Peace will cover the world as the waters that covers the seas. Peace on Earth and goodwill to all human beings on the earth.
