If you only had 1 month to live what would you do with the time you had left?

Have you ever thought of what you would do if you only had a short time left to live.
    How would you spend it?

I would get rid of my obsessions to earn more money, and probably just give all that I have to an animal shelter.

Soon after that I would find the tallest creek in the world and jump off. I like creeks, and I hate not having my life at least partially in my control.

    P.S. What about you?

I must tell you that I have thought of this a lot, I always come back with the same answer.
First of all I would not be able to tell me loved ones that I was going to leave them.. As they would spend my last days feeling pity for me...I would not want that.
Secondly I would make sure my affairs were in order...children and such... I would write a letter to each of them and explain why I never told them of course... They would understand.
And lastly I would spend every moment I had loving and enjoying every breath I had left!

I asked my wonderful husband the same question...
His answer was ... I would spend my last moments making sure my girls would be financially stable and taken care of when I was gone.
I asked him why he would say such a thing and his answer was... Because I would be dead and no longer here to love my girls and take care of you!

I would want to be with my sister, my partner, and my friends.  If I felt well, I would take a trip to a place I've wanted to see, such as the Greek Isles.  I would sit by the sea, drink wine, and hold hands.

I would hope to savor each precious moment. Long walks have provided an outlet for prayer and meditation for me in the past. I have always felt that I was a pilgrim traveling through this world, yet not of this world. Death is part of the cycle of life, and for those of us who believe in an everlasting life of the Spirit, death is but the commencement to eternal bliss. We would endeavor to translate this hope to our loved ones and those we encountered during our transition to the other side.
