Basically, I think, it's because Paul is an antiestablishmentarian with the ability to articulate his beliefs. His ideas would bring real change to the US national state, not just the feelgood, campaign season fog of that hopey changey thingy of which we heard so much last presidential election. The mainstream media is a part of the national establishment even if not officially an arm of government, and like all established institutions its first imperative is self-preservation. Out of that it reacts aggressively toward both people and ideas that pose genuine challenges to its privilege and wealth. Paul is an enemy to the mainstream media because he is an enemy of the status quo.
Because they do what their bosses tell them in order to keep from getting fired from tv. Ignore the media. Turn off the tv and don't watch the dumb political commentators. Just vote for Ron Paul and be done with it.

I just stumbled on this story and am really impressed. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/11/2 … 09102.htmlThe story is about Ron Paul's stance that the fed should take a hands off approach to medical marijuana, that it should be down to the states. My only worry is that Obama campaigned...

Over the last couple of days a lot of media attention has gone towards a conspiracy theory involving Ron Paul and Mitt Romney banding together. They seem to be pushing it pretty hard which in my mind means that they are trying to paint Ron Paul as a sell-out. What are your thoughts?
