Would you be willing to murder an innocent person if it would end hunger in the World?
No, Jesus said "The poor will be with us always",plus there is always that pesky comm
andment, "Thou shalt not kill".
Nope.., if he is innocent, he can't be reason behind someone's hunger.
Maybe if i get a chance, i'll beat the crap out of the photographer of the above pic.
Not to be cruel, but of course! One person, when millions have died and will die due to hunger. But, this question isn't reall practical, unless one person was somehow preventing the end of hunger and you'd have to kill them. But I would, in spite of what I would think an old prophet would have preferred.
sure. but since a lot of hunger is caused by stupidity and laziness , it wouldn't last so i doubt in the end i would.
Definitely, unless that child had the cure for world hunger or something even better, in which case I would ask him for it.
If sometime is wrong, it is wrong. Killing an innocent person is wrong and the end does not justify the means. And as nightwork4 wrote, "it wouldn't last" so no, I couldn't do that.
The idea that I will be asked to kill an innocent person just to end World Hunger, hmmm...I can't do that. I agree with duffsmom, janiek13 and arvin_D. Our logical thinking would not accept such an "impractical" thing just to end Hunger. Humans, no matter how attractive our desire to prolong our existence will not succumb to such an idea.
On the other hand, I admire Steve, Philantrophy & nightwork. Not to argue with anyone, but the above photo is a painting. And the question did not specifically said the person was a child... If that innocent person would be anyone of us who answered to this question, we already know what we would do, right?
Thank you for responding.

What are your views on the death penalty? While I do believe that some people should be put to death, the risk of sending an innocent person to death is too great. I think either the requirements for the death penalty should be higher or is should be banned. What do you think?
