    Don't think so.

With the rise of democracy, especially in those parts of the world where it didn't seem likely, and we still have goverments and economic systems that's still rooted on the right of its people to have private or corporate ownership of capital goods, Capitalism is here to stay.

Well, at least, until things get to where 'dogs begin to eat dogs'.

Socialism is nothing more than spreading misery to the rest of the bunch. It is also for the lazy. Capitalism is the best economic system. Socialism is the second worse next to Communism.

Not while the people in political power are also profiting from it.

Let's hope not. Human culture has still not moved beyond primitive instincts of selfishness and the need to overpower others. If we lose capitalism, we'll just descend back into militaristic feudalism. Democracy will always elude us until the majority of humans are enlightened. Capitalism is oppressive, but it is far more civilized than military feudalism.

hopefully we will. i would love to see it end and be replaced by a system where each person that works for a company gets the same share as everyone else. though many disagree, capitalism was histories worst mistake and as anyone with their eyes open can see, we are now paying dearly for it.
