I think this is a question that just depends on your personal preference and what you believe in an choose to support.
I believe the most worthwhile charities are the ones that impact your life directly. Several people in my life have been diagnosed with breast cancer, so I always make a point to donate to a reputable charity that funds the research and treatment of breast cancer. I believe if it weren't for those organizations, my friends and family wouldn't be here with me.
I actually had a really great experience recently when worked with a charity that accepts car donations to fund the American Breast Cancer Foundation. When I upgraded my vehicle, I could still make a considerable contribution to support the cause.
If you donate to breast cancer or need to get rid of your old car, I recommend checking them out: https://www.cardonations4cancer.org/
