What conveniences are you willing to sacrifice for eco-friendly living?
How far would you go? Would you install a composting toilet, or recycle bathwater for your toilet. Could you go off the grid, only use power generated from solar panels or wind to support your household?
Inasmuch as possible, the use of plastic bags and wrap. I usually buy fresh and am a scratch cook. I use reusable bags so as to cut way down on the plastic bag handouts at check outs. I do not drive anything other than a bike or an electric bike or walk. I'm looking into locally grown food and self made electric power using a home made windmill based on some of my own concepts. Almost everything I use is recycled and I'm on the lookout for new ideas.
