    If corporations are people & money is free speech then doesn't that mean that there is no longer any

    democracy by humans for humans and that the USA is truly a corporatocracy?

    The citizens united ruling that allowed that to happen is a travesty that citizens must push back to overturn.  We are not as "free" as we like to believe we are in the US.

    The citizens United ruling never said corporations are poeple, that is a straw man argument. They rightly ruled that that the 1st Amendment protects free speech and says nothing about the speaker.

      USSC reversed Montana Supreme Court that Citizens United did not preclude a Montana state law prohibiting corporate spending in elections.
