Will Another World War Bring about Economic Growth and Prosperity?
No it would bring death and devastation. In fact it would probably be the end of life as we know it. Remember there are countries that have nuclear power and the ability to wipe out an entire country.
American economic prosperity and growth is at our fingertips and the US government simply refuses to accept and adopt policies that exploit those eoconmic opportunities in a rational fashion.
So NO, we do not need another world war to bring about prosperity, we need rational government actors that protect individual property rights and promote economic freedom while protecting national interests abroad.
The answer to economic prosperity is Individual freedom and not more government or smarter government (assuming there exists such an animal). Governments need to stand-down and get out of the way of human creativity and ingenuity, instead of creating barriers via legislation and regulations that profoundly stunt economic productivity.
And individuals must recognize that governments are not the solution and what solutions government offers are NOT FREE. They cost everyone something and become more and more obtrusive over time by simple natural evolution. People need to accept more responsibility and stop whining and make attempts to solve problems without government, because in the end a government solution depends on PEOPLE or more precisely -- OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY.

There is no doubt Obama believes in Government with a capital 'G'. At last count the Obama administration has added 123,000 federal jobs during his tenure. His philosophy is the Government can solve all problems if the rest of us would just let it have control. Maybe he thinks...

To cement the fact that since the 1980s, the rich have been getting richer because the middle class is shrinking and the poor are getting poorer was the recent announcement that the American Middle Class, the bulwark of this Nation, is no longer the richest middle class in the world and has fallen...
