When would you say a war is justified?
We all know there are wars.. America seems to start a lot of them..
Never. Even if one side is acting legitimately in self-defense, that implies the other side is acting with illegitimate aggression, which means that in the largest sense the war is not justified.
If you mean "When is one side justified in declaring war," then I say, "when they are attacked, or it is clear beyond a reasonable doubt that they are about to be attacked."
When the survival of the country is at stake, war is justified. Arguably, the last war in which the survival of the U.S. was at stake was World War 2. Some would also say the Cold War was a war of survival for the U.S., but the actual threat from the Soviet Union was overstated to help the U.S. defense industry. The rest of the wars the U.S. has engaged in since WW2 were based on weak rationales and had ulterior motives or were just imperial overreach.
Hi. Good question. This is a question that so many are divided on. since 9/11, I think a lot of America has forgotten. I don't know if you believe in the Bible or are a Christian, but, the Bible says that in the end days there will be wars and rumors of wars. I think war is necessary to defend your home land and country, I am not one for revenging kind of war, but it is hard to say. Wars come in so many shapes and forms, whether it be at home with an enemy, or if the country is at war defending our home land. I would not want to be in our Nations leaders shoes to make any decisions of whether or not we should be in a war, and I won't criticize them either, for I know we do not know all the facts.

WikiLeaks is involved in uncovering many hateful activities of the US government. In this respect would it be justified to restrict their activities by the US government?

If North Korea really does launch a missile that hit America, what should our response be? I'm not a war monger and in most cases I am against war to solve the issue. But when you say your going to attack a country and try to do it then you have to be proactive. I believe we should treat them like...
