Is Globalism, or the United Nations, A Direct Threat To The Sovereignty Of The United States?

Do you think that U.S. politicians, U.S. government is protecting U.S. sovereignty or aiding or allowing globalization with the intent of exchanging U.S. sovereignty for globalization?

Globalism is the exact defination of  giving  up the right to self determination. If you think your vote means nothing now, just wait until it's worth even less. Let the other nations start telling you how to live. Over my dead body.

Another question where a one word answer would suffice.

    YES

Globalisation will never be the answer, mainly because we all have different needs and aspirations and (important) abilities to achieve those needs and aspirations.

This is illustrated by your replies, extend that to a 'global' perspective and it's unworkable.

In Malaysia the average Malay is content to work just sufficient to cover their needs, they have few aspirations apart from family, and their ability is somewhat limited in terms of competitive nature compared to other peoples.

But they are content, so why bother them?

The only true 'global' concept that would work would be Christ and the worlds acceptance of Him, but we know that will never happen this time around, so we are stuck with waiting for the second version... coming soon to a world near you!

The U.S. itself is its own threat to our sovereignty.  A country cant try to control the rest of the world and be left alone to rule its self as a sovereign nation at the same time.
Once you start to assert your self on other countries, you hinder their ability to govern themselves and in turn, they must rebel to protect their own interests.

Globalization and sovereignty are opposites and cannot coexist so YES, I BELIVE THAT GLOBALISM IS A DIRECT THREAT TO THE SOVEREIGNTY OF THE UNITED STATES JUST AS ATTEMPTING TO MAINTAIN SOVEREIGNTY IS A THREAT TO GLOBALIZATION.
