Why is Israel the only country allowed nuclear weapons in the Middle East?
Who decided to carve Palestine up the way it is now, and is that why Israel is singled out as alright for a nuclear deterrent?
It is the UN as it was then was that decided to carve up Palestine into two states: Israeli and Arab--the Arabs rejected because the vast majority of the population then were Palestinian Arabs. As a result in 1948 they were made into refugees, up to 700, 0000 of them; some say 900,000 or thereabouts. In the 1950s Israel, with the help of the French decided to start build nuclear weapons. Of course, it has always kept secretive about it, in fact denying the fact, but every state in the world knows that Israel has massive stockpiles that can destroy the Middle several times over.
Yes , I do know all the facts, I was interested to see how many other people know the truth and what they think about the whole situation. I am of european jewish descent and it has always puzzled me why the survivors were sent to Palestine and why Israel has so much more space trhan the Palestinian Terottoies, why the Israelis are given preferenceto any other Nation in the Middle East?
The Israelis have nuclear weapons???!!!
How would anyone know that? They've never told anybody that they have nuclear weapons.
