According to President Obama "The War On Terror" is over. Do you believe that?
That's one side of the story but I wonder if the terrorists know that.
You have got to be kidding! The war on terror will never be over until the entire world is converted to the Muslim religion. But it would be great if it was over because then they could shut down the TSA and flying would be fun again.
The war on terror is a farce, it is a way to keep American's scared and our military mobile. It's really just a large chess game where American forces are placed in and around the Middle East chess board for upcoming "conflicts" to protect the government's, not our, interests.
You're my son so we'll have a discussion about it when you get your feet back on dry land.
Oooo, I remember hearing that from my dad a time or two, SS.
My advice? Just nod your head and say, "yes, sir," A LOT.
Good thing TFP indicated you were his son or we might all be railing on ya' by now. But we are all confident that ole' Dad will lay it out for you and you will see it his/our way when it is all said and done.
When did Obama say the war on terror is over? We just took out several Al-Qaeda members in Pakistan with a drone. So no way is it over or our soldiers would be safely at home guarding the homeland instead of dying in Afghanistan.
Just Goggle the comment if you want to know when it was said.
The war on terror will never be over until Muslims dominate the world. Like it or not, that is there goal and to think otherwise is to invite trouble.
Him stating that didn't send tingles up my legs BPOP.
Only over because we have probably joined forces with the enemy.
After we finish playing "Cowboys and Muslims". We just need to remind D.C. of that very real possibility!
I am ready and more than willing to get involved! I've been ready since the 90's!!I I also KNOW my family is behind me.
i don't think there ever was a war on terror. it is nothing but a money making scam and a way to get oil.
Oh he said that, did he?
no, "over" would mean the military is not continuing to send American troops over there- and they're continuing to do so.

Now that we all have had time to reflect, was the United States war on terrorism valid?Or, did our instant gratification culutre, react to quickly based on emotion and fear?I think American people are easily led by fear and were easily sold on the war on terror like a good beer commercial. ...

How did President Obama get the scar on his skull?A few times over the last months when the President is on television I've noticed a scar on his skull. A friend suggested he may have had an accident in his youth but I haven't heard about any accident he experienced so am still curious. Does anyone...

OK I almost misread this as "The war on terror is over" when the title was the subject of a Fox News article. OK, we're not even close to finding Osama bin Laden.

in light of the current sociopolitical and socioeconomic situation regarding the United States of America? Do you believe that President Obama is doing the best job he can under the circumstances? Do you maintain that President Obama can do a much better job as President? Do you contend that...

We all want our soldiers to be able to come home and that, would at the same time decrease spending. At the same time, how safe do you feel if most of our soldiers are home? There's a lot that we don't know that goes on "behind the scenes". There's no right or wrong answer.
