Do you think that once a new president is voted in  in Egypt that things will start to get better?

Things have already started to get better.  The real question is:  "How long will it actually take to GET better?"  With the military and their vested interests in the old system dragging their boots, the will of the Egyptian people must surely have to prevail...but how long is that process?

I do hope that it will, but knowing what we know already I think there is very little chance of that.  The external powers such as (US and UK) will never allow a free Egypt (Free as in, has the ability to make it's own decisions even if that means going against the will of the West).

That will never happen as the West has too many things to loose if that occurs which is why they will do everything possible to make sure that whoever goes in only acts as a stooge an nothing more.

So sorry that is not what you may have wanted to hear but we have to be realistic.  For the last few centuries the West has always meddled in other countries affairs for it's own selfish gains and nothing more.

    All the best

How can you say things are getting better when there is death on the streets every day, people going hunry and jobs on short supply?
