Complete the phrase: Obama will be (voted out of office/reelected) because _____
Provide your best comment or opinion as to why the President will either be reelected or ousted this November.
Obama may be given the boot because he is running the most incompetent and one of the most corrupt administrations in US history, and the voting public is onto it.
He may be reelected because the heart of his corruption, and the one area in which he has shown competence, is having pulled off world history's most massive vote buying scheme.
Which of the two comes to pass is a matter of whether his bought and paid for special interests or the general taxpaying public turns out in greater numbers on election day. Flip a coin.
Our elections are such a joke - we needed UN observers last time.
Corporations are running the elections (likely controlling the electrons in the electronic voting booths, too).
And @Ptosis, the UN is a bigger problem; not a solution.
Obama is getting instructions from the UN. Remember Libya?
Treason!
There's no conspiracy. BO thought getting the eevul rightie autocrats out of the way would open the Arab world to a fresh, new leftie era. What we're getting is Islamism. What's at work is incompetence, not obedience to UN commands.
Tough question. I don't want to go from bad to worse. Romney is so out of touch with the "Middle class and the impoverished" because he has never known any other way of living besides being wealthy. He also is a chameleon, Depending on who he is talking to depends on what his stance is. So, Obama will be re-elected because of Romney's "Lack of being able to relate" with the American people. Romney scares me. So does Obama. This election you might say will boil down to the lesser of two evils.
When voting for the lesser evil - you're still voting for evil.
So was John F. Kennedy so out of touch that he couldn't relate to the middle class and did that make him a bad President? Just wondering. Seems his family has a little money set aside...
A pol has three basic strategies on which to run: past, present and future. Obama can't run on the past; his record is awful. He can't run on the future; no one believes his promises anymore. That leaves demonizing Romney, so that's his theme.
Hitler or Stalin... take your pick.
No thanks!
I'm writing in Ron Paul if I have to. The Corporate Party media kool-aid will have us believe all manner of evil about him, until you look beyond the garbage. Wall St is afraid of him.
re-elected because :
... elections are rigged in America just like in Mexico, Russia and the Philippines.
... 97% of all incumbents are re-relected
... the 'winner take all' electoral system inherited from the 3/4th rule of black male slavery.
... Nobody really voted for Obama - just against that Mormon Mittens
... I'm a dog - and I vote!
Romney = Obama = Bush = Clinton = Bush,Sr. etc.
No one's perfect, but these clowns work for Wall Street, not the American citizens. Corporations outvote the measly little citizens.
Ron Paul is the only Republicrat or Demopublican making sense.
Obama will be voted out of office because, like McCain in 2008, the sluggishness of the US economy will be tied to him moreso than his opponent. Although McCain was not president in 2008, Team Obama latched McCain to Bush so successfully that you would swear that Obama wasn't even campaigning against McCain. But there is nowhere to hide in 2012. Obama chose to follow the leadership of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid (yes, HE followed THEM), and that was his undoing in the 2010 mid-term elections, where the GOP made historic gains. But if 2010 was a referendum on Obama WITHOUT him on the ticket, just wait until November when he IS....
I admire Attikos's objectivity! Bush and his administration was not corrupt, wasn't it?
Start a thread about it, and maybe someone still cares enough, or is still willing to repeat "It's Bush's fault!" enough, to post in it. Then you'll know.
All of the puppet presidents have been corrupt. Gee! When was the last real president? Could it have been JFK? Perhaps Ronnie chaffed under the collar and tried to break free, but one shot to the ribs woke him up to who was master. Wall Street
Obama will be reelected because he's done a good job and needs time to finish the work that he's started. His health care bill has helped millions of people, and that alone is cause to put him back into office.
You can't legislate compassion. All it does is give someone in power more money to steal. And then that money gives them more power to be tyrannical. Depending on nanny.gov to save you is like digging your own grave.
Obama = treason
Obama will be voted out of office because people saw through this silver-tongued devil and how he said sweet things but didn't deliver.
Perhaps more critical is the fact that his Oath of Office didn't mean squat when he repeatedly trashed the Constitution he swore to defend. Extending the unPatriot Act, NDAA with its indefinite detention clauses without due process for American citizens, his wonderful "kill list," murder of American citizens by executive order, suggesting the idea of ignoring Congress and the Supreme Court effectively recommending a one-branch government, and going to war on the recommendation of the UN rather than consulting Congress as he's supposed to do per the Constitution. I'm sure I missed a few acts of treason.
Under Obama, America became far more belligerent and an international bully (warmonger). He sounded like such a peace-loving guy before the election. Iraq dragged on (what happened to first thing I'll do in office?), Afghanistan stands to be escalated out the roof, Libya was a tasty little money-maker for the military-industrial complex, and Syria and Iran look like two new juicy tidbits. God! What a monster we've created.
Obama skyrocketed the national debt far faster than Bush's record-breaking insanity -- now standing at nearly $16 Trillion! When that debt Bubble pops, Earth will be toast and America ground zero. The proverbial fan will be vaporized!
And Romney doesn't look any better!
We need to uninstall this horrible new software (Hitler 2.0).
Ron Paul is the only one for me. He's proved himself consistent. And he's got a sane plan for pulling back from the brink of oblivion and one-world government tyranny.
....he has already shelled out too much money to the networks and he essentially controls the media. Every sitting president gets re-elected these days unless a third-party man ruins it all.

Do you research candidates before voting? How could anyone vote for Romney or Obama?I wrote articles about a local Modesto mayoral election in 2012. Though I was on the first Google results page for the biggest search phrases on Google (and there weren't too many!), only a few dozen read the...

This is the fourth time I'm asking this. It seems like more are sorry, especially the ones with no job.

What is this thing with Palin being so shielded from the press? Evidently, they don't want her asked about the investigation into "alleged" wrongdoing in the troopergate scandal. I'm thinking maybe she is the one orchestrating this, because I can't see her going along with...
