Do economies evolve?
Since we have evolution in animals, why not economies and economic theory?
What do you think?
I am in sociology right now, and according to the book Introduction to Sociology by Basirico, Cashion and Eshleman economies reflect a cultures social system and cultural values (438). So, seeing that social systems and values change over time, I think economies do as well. So, yes economies evolve.
