Which national convention helped their candidate more, Republican or Democratic?
They both are political theater, staged shows, more irrelevant each quadrennium. The only people who find any meaning in them are those who, if they went to church, would sit in the choir listening raptly as the preacher told them how righteous they are and how sinful are those not sitting there with them.
While I agree with all you say Attikos, I mean the insane idiocy that came from Charleton Heston berating a chair blows my mind. Did either candidate push themselves forward or hurt themselves in the buildup to the election.
The demwits' convention has been a display of ineptitude and ideological bankruptcy. The retardicans' was one of slightly better managerial abilities but no more trustworthiness. I doubt anyone but the blindly partisan felt inspired by either.
