Why won't President Obama release his college records?

That's an easy one. There is only one realistic answer. Obama has spent more time and money than any president in US history keeping his past obscure. He has been able to succeed in that project because of a supportive mainstream news media, and he has done it for the same reason any politician keeps his records concealed: there are facts in them damaging to his political ambitions.

Here are some possible "surprises" that might be found in his college records:

    1) Barack Sr might not be his father but Frank Marshall Davis might be.

    2) His mother did not re-instate his US citizenship when he left Indonesia.

    3) He attended college in the US as a foreign student and/or used foreign student loan programs.

    4) His grades were poor or insufficient.

    5) His college writings reflect a Liberal-Progressive-Socialist ideology.

    6) ?

Probably because he had bad grades and he is embarassed for the public to see them (assuming the story is true). That would be my guess without any further research. Sherlock Empresario might have actually solved this case!

      Sherlock,

President Obama said he was going to be the most transparent president.  Does this seem transparent to you, or do you think the president made a campaign promise he failed to keep?

Could it be that the records would show the name Barry Soetoro, citizen of Indonesia?

If Obama-Soetoro can lie to the Illinois bar about not having had another name, then he can certainly hide the fact that he's not a citizen of the United States.

His sweet words hide the fact that he's betraying his Oath of Office by trashing the Constitution he swore to protect. But all recent presidents have done this. They all work for the Corporate Party.

But we can forgive him these sins. God is our Lord. After all, it's His universe.

Why would he is the better question? The only people who seem to care are those who have an extreme disdain for him already and want it for slander. Would you give something up to such a group? I sure wouldn't. The guy has been working for you for four years, that is more than enough material to evaluate his job performance.

      Disdain?
I hold no disdain for him, but I do disagree with his politics. Slander?
I would like to see the facts, good, bad, or indifferent.

This man ran on a promise of being the most transparent administration and has not been so.

He had no reason to do so. And, he has not  had them sealed. No one's college transcripts are anyone else's business.

His lack of transparency, while on the job, about things that actually matter is a legitimate criticism. His lack of handing over college transcripts, which Presidents don't normally do, is irrelevant in comparison.
