In times of war (ex. Iraq and Afghanistan) should we raise taxes in the U. S. to pay for the war?
In times of war (ex. Iraq, Afghanistan) should we raise taxes to pay for the war rather than borrow money from China, for example, and go trillions of dollars in debt with another country? Should we pay for the war ourselves? Pay as we go?
Once you choose or elect leaders that go to war, the better option is to raise taxes otherwose the USA will go broke and lose its world power status to China.
Yes. Put the burdern of the war back on the average American and it will be over quicker.
