The current election has been a joy and a pain for me to watch. Although it has been entertaining, it has strictly been both sides trashing one another. And both sides have lied, but that's politics right? In regards to who I am voting for, I will be checking off Romney on my ballot. Why? I am a Republican i will admit, but let it be known i don't like Romney as a candidate. But i do like him over Obama. I have seen and not seen things by Obama that just pains me to have him as our president. Obviously the situation in Libya, but prior to that Obama had a Primarily Democratic Congress, but still could not get bills passed. All he had to do was make them and they would most likely be put in place. Obama wishes to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants. I support Romney because he wants to get the millions trying to get here LEGALLY a chance rather than the ones who broke our laws before they were even citizens. Also Obama takes full credit for Osama Bin Laden's death in order to boost his votes. This is appalling to me because most of the work was done by the bush administration. Let it be known that i believe the credit should go to the advisors and soldiers because they are the knew who put the intel, mission, and hard work together regarding a military expedition. I also have noticed in every debate, speech, etc Obama only states what others did and will do wrong rather than saying what he will do. I understand you want to make the others look bad, but to the extent he does is saddening and leaves me thinking he doesn't have any plans to fix anything. I also dislike that Obama says how he will put in the same ideas as when we last had a "Surplus" (under clinton). But if you look, we didn't really have a surplus. It was a false representation to make the president look like he had done more than he actually did. Obviously it was better then now but still. Romney has a track record of being generous with his wealth to charities. And also he used to own a small-business and grew it. He knows what it takes to help a small business owner. Yes he's rich, but it shows he knows how to get money. Which is what we need. People say he will help the rich, but for that to happen that would have to go through all of the senators and reps we voted in as well. Not just one man. People may take his words and blow them out of proportion, but look at his track record. On a day at the races, you vote for the horse that has been known to win.

I just wish U understand wut U are talking about. Anybody could put up a business & make it grow granting they have enough resources to do so. Your case about illegal immigrants is just a wishful thinking, ask me why and I'll explain to you, LMAO

Who cares about the election! Wall Street can make the economy crash again if they wanted to, and they might, thanks to Fannie Mae, which might crash, Bloomberg News this source, and political radicals will rake retirement accounts to pay off Fannie Mae's money green fanny which should really be a brown fanny. If the economy crashes, who cares, America will still run. If the economy doesn't crash, who cares, America will still run. I don't know why people vote! If you vote, who cares, America will still run. If you don't vote, who cares, America will still run!

Shouldn't governments put money towards the obvious? Why should people have to vote on something that should be beneficial for society? If government money didn't go towards pulling people off of welfare and putting them back into employment, making the earth more green and more blue, homelessness, etc., then the money is obviously going elsewhere! Where is the money going?

So who cares about the election! If government money will be used to fund military practices, etc., and to raise America's taxes, who cares, Americans will still be happy. If government money is to be used to obviously help Americans, who cares, Americans will still be happy. If government money is to be used to close down American companies, forcing more Americans into unemployment, homelessness, etc., who cares, Americans will still be happy!

I don't know why Americans don't kill off their own government!

It has been a long and trashy slog for all of us. We are tired of it, the ads, the emails, the pleas for money and the outright lies. I have supported and voted for President Obama, left with eight years of defecit and two wars to end, and a House of Reps whose stated aim was to keep him from being reelected. I do not want a return to the economics of Bush (and Herbert Hoover). I have a t-shirt that says Old School Progressive with a picture of FDR  on it. I am pretty confident of an Obama win.
I saw an email (oops) sent out by old crazy Newt G that says he thinks that will happen too.

This year has been interesting. I have actually followed everything closer than I have in the past. Unfortuantely, I don't like either candidate. I am not voting because I have no clue who to vote for.

Well guys, I appreciate all the answers given, I pretty much agree. I don't know if Obama is the better candidate, or if Romney is the better choice. We are all struggling with this election. theres alot of he said this, she said that. It gets so confusing, if you know what I mean. Positives, in my opinion, for Obama. Is if he could just followed through with what he says . America will survive, as we always have. Romney's positives is he does understand money and just maybe things can go back to normal.

With that said and done though, there is one thing President Obama said when he was first elected, that still rings deepest in my heart. We the people, are the ones who have to power to really change the way things are. I like listening to you guys because, I think you understand what I mean. United States is strong because, of us. If we stand divided. We are in for a very bumpy ride.

Ssaffery, I agree with you to  a point, I don't think we need to declare war against the government, I don't think we have to kill anyone to make United States better. I think as long as we start making better decision's about how to make us stronger. Become more unified in our goals to make America what it was.

Xstatic, you are so right about the ads and all that advertisement about the elections, Its getting so annoying, like I said there is far too much of He said this, they told me that. I heard that such and such planned on doing this. Its so tiresome and annoying.

TroyMoody, truer words my friend but, even so I believe it depends on the people mainly to bring us back in order. It is supposed to be a democracy after all. smile

At last, Ambercita, I am the very same way. I have never watched the Elections so closely until now, There are several Pro on both sides of the elections but, So far, in my eyes, there are far too many Cons. I don't know what will happen with this elections. So, I guess it depends on all of us to make the best decision necessary.

Well, ladies and gentlemen this is only my opinion, It's what I believe. I could be wrong. I really do appreciate all of your guys opinions. Thanks for stopping by. hope to hear from you again.
