I'm not sure if one is better than the other but I do believe Bill Clinton is far more popular. If it were possible for him to seek a 3rd term he would have beaten Romney much worse that Obama did. In fact there are many that would argue it was Clinton's support of Obama that revitalized the Democrat party during this election.
Obama is more popular than Clinton ever was. Clinton faced a number of militia uprisings, terrorist attacks, and assassination attempts during his administration--not to mention impeachment. After the Soviet Union fell, Clinton decided to make the US into a military rogue state instead of leading us into a demobilized peacetime economy. When the former Yugoslavian states of Macedonia, Bosnia, and Serbia opted not to join NATO, like the other Eastern Block countries had done, Clinton sent in troops or went to all-out war with them. Obama's record really isn't much better. These guys have really been giving up the game lately that they are nothing more than 4 to 8 year placeholders, while the lifelong government bureaucracy continues to keep its 30-year plans moving forward. It sort of makes me wish we would abolish the 2-term limit. Why not? If we don't like a guy, we can just vote him out.
As far as I'm concerned we ought to be able to vote somebody out as soon as we feel it's necessary; I think it might change how they do things. It seems there's something in place, no change in politician will change it. That's pretty obvious.
Clinton was a great President. I don't see how you can even compare the two.
both are terrible, but I would much rather have Clinton...I never thought I'd say that.
