Will it be better to be friends with 20 Muslim Countries than with one Israel?

As for me,it would have been better for the United states to have good relationships with 20 Arab(Muslim) countries than to to have whole world as an enemy and be friends with one Israel. Also, we would not have to pay $ 3-6 billion of taxpayers dollars to support Israel. This country is like a puppet for Israel. What is going on?Israel would be nothing without the US.....do you hear me?? NOTHING.Our taxes would go to more important things:schools, insurance, better enviornment, etc. It's such a waste that the US is recommending war by giving the Israelis money to kill Palestinians..It'sso sad.

Why must Israel always be excluded? Why can't we all be friends and get along. Why must Israel be looked at as a parasite in the middle east when they are only protecting themselves and their citizens from being attacked? Wouldn't any Country do the same? Israel is where it belongs, They are God's chosen people, and I think the United States should be friends with Israel regardless. Just my opinion.

It certainly is their land historically that was taken from them. They simply took it back. This is where God wanted them to be to restore the temple. It is all in the Bible.

I believe every word the Bible says. Two billion people can't be wrong. I really think you need to do your history, starting farther back than the 18th century. smile

No Mr I am a history teacher.David and Solomon ruled that  place for 70 years. If that s what gives them the right to take the land back ,Muslims too should take back Spain..They ruled  700 years.Muslims are more eligible in this case to claim it back

Israel is the "Promised Land" that God has promised the Jewish people (His people) for thousands of years. This is where they have arrived and this is where they will stay. God Bless

I don't think we should have to choose!

The whole region needs to work with some givens. One is Israel is there to stay and Palestinians need their own state. The 20 middle eastern countries also don't see eye to eye so grouping them together a a one group presentation does not really work.

This is utter nonsense.  Israeli's have attempted to live in peace with them for decades.  There is no peace with Palistinians. Hamas is only interesed in wiping out an entire race of people. They gladly blow up there own kids for this cause.

There are plenty of people inside Israel and Palestine who would like to see a two state solution, and people on the outside taking sides has not helped them one bit. They are going to keep at it until no one is left standing.  Fools!

Hamas controls the Palestianian actions in that region.  They do not want a two state solution.  They want to destroy every Jew on the planet.  They teach there kids in elementary school text books that jews are evil ghouls

The US already gives massive amounts of money to the Arab nations to try and buy their support. We already give 1.3 billion to Egypt alone, now controlled by a theocratic bunch of maniacs in the Muslim Brotherhood.  Your comments are ignorant to what is going on in that region of the world.  The Israeli gov't has made numerous attempts to make peace with the Arab world.  They have over time made concessions on the Golan Heights, the Sinai Penninsula and numerous other concessions.  They left Camp David in 2000 with a peace agreement with Arafat and he went home and started a War.  Every peacful overture by this free democratic society has been met with rockets launched into there cities targeting civilians.  While when the israeli's use military force they make every attempt to be tactical and target military installations only.  On the contrary the palestinians target civilians routinely. If you had ever been their you'd see the difference up close and personal.

Lastly, there is no such thing as freeing the palestinians.  They are already free.  There is no such place as Palestine.  Before the creation of Israel it was part of Egypt.  Palestinians that are not hostile to Israel can and do enter Israeli cities routinely for employment and work in peace.  While Israelis that dare enter gaza are slaughtered.  What you are basically advocating is making friends with the most violent govt's that oppress their citizens, particularly women, while turning your back on the only true ally in the region that offers a truly free society to their citizens consistent with American ideals.  The funding that should be cut off is to Egypt, Saudi's and every other Arab Gov't that uses our tax dollars to help by the love of their local Jihadist.  This sounds like a question Neville Chamberlain would have asked.

We have been giving them 1.3 every year for decades.  Along with aid to every other Arab nation.  There may not be an Israel if people like you get there way.  I suppose it was easier to side with Germany as well when they stormed into Poland.

i disagree. muslim countries tend to be borderline barbaric and treat women like crap. they tend to cause more harm then good and i don't think being friendly with them helps. most of these countries hate the west so why be friends with them. we should just leave them alone, not help them at all and let them do what they want to themselves.i don't care about israel in the least either, it's just another nutty religious run country.
