Sorry if I misjudged you, Stan. I thought you were one of those who believes Obama can do no wrong.
No, Stan. Read my post again. I said a president needs both. As a retired teacher, I am all for a good education. I'm just saying that because someone has a great education does not a good president make. They also need honesty, insight, leadership, courage, and integrity.
Why do we, as citizens, allow all the lobbyists?? We'll never have honest politicians as long as there's so much underhanded money to be made in congress. Can we all agree on that?
I agree with you, Stan. Bush was more qualified than Palin. I think if he had not allowed himself to be led by the far right and Cheney, he would have been a much better leader.
I dunno, Earnesto. Donald's kinda short. Don't presidents have to be on the tallish side?
In size yes, in intellect, apparently not!
What worries me is that she might run as a third party candidate. I don't think she has a chance as the Republican nominee. Of course, if Afghanistan is solved and the economy rebounds, I believe Obama will be re-elected.
Kevin 07 will do just fine. The opposition blew themselves apart a couple of days ago. Cost will be at least 20 seats they cannot afford to lose. The front and back bench of the liberal party under Malcolm Turnbull mostly resigned!
Half the liberals did not want to ratify the new ETS (carbon tax) before the meeting next week.
That is right. Even after this leader and the previous liberal party leader John Howard had both ratified it!
Well ok, why not? Seems like a liberal sort of thing.
Liberal means something entirely different to what means in American politics.
The liberal party is a little like the republicans, with the incumbent labor government more like your democrats, although they have been growing closer to a central position for the last 10 or so years.
LOL! Wiki-hard questions! Did you really think this through? Wow.
Kartvellian appears nowhere on Wikipedia. Neither does Mingrellian. By the way, there are other sources on the internet, alone, that one may consult. Don't imagine you thought of that, though.
And nevertheless, most of my information was obtained from Z., the New York Times, The Times, Politico, and Georgian political newspapers.
Yawn.
lita, hope that's not a sleep yawn, but instead directed at hubpages most boring troll.
It is directed at what you mention, BD. Gotta go to bed, though, now.
Nice to see a decent person!
His obvious crush on Lita is very amusing.
LOL! Top-secret information about what is happening on earth! The New York Times?! What kind of top-secret clearance do you need to access such classified info? This reminds me of an episode of 'Friends' where Joey bought one volume of an encyclopedia and then tried to pretend he was quite knowledgeable by referencing that one volume. LOL! Nevermind, you might not get the joke if you didn't see it.
This fits with the overall theme of this thread: Petty personal sniping and nothing about issues. Yup.
Wasn't it the conservatives of the past that harped on the idea of 'character?' And I wonder why people even write biographies, or why resumes are even presented when people apply for jobs.
Are you serious? Wow, I never heard such a ridiculous statement. Are you sure she didn't say that as a joke though, as I know the media tends to take things out of context a lot, so I just thought i'd ask....
She was joking when she said that stupid comment. She lives 1200 mile from the Russian coast.
The only positive thing we get out of Palin is that provides more than enough material for the late night comedians. But since day one since ariving on the scene, she's been on big joke.

I find it interesting when Democrats say the only reason people will vote for Romney is because he is a Republican. They chastise the people on the right who are loyal to their party. They cannot see that people will not vote for Obama because he is doing a lousy job. OF course it is Ok for them to...

Alaska set to release thousands of Sarah Palin emails"The messages date from Palin's first days in office in December 2006 through September 2008a period that covers most of the presidential election, but not her time as McCain's running mate. This release of correspondence also does not...

When Senator MCCain announced that he was going to have a female running mate, I was elated. What an election we were going to have. A female and a black male running for the highest office in the land. And now a republican has chosen a female as his running mate. When Sarah Palin...

Do you think Sarah Palin will run for President in 2012?

The tragedy this past week in Arizona has drummed up all sorts of emotions and fears in the American public as well it should. What happened to the victims of that heinous act of senseless violence is horrifying, some might say unacceptable. And while I’m sure we can all agree that it was...
