Please compare and contrast Adolph Hitler with Barack Hussein Obama.

I am interested in discerning more about Barack Obama's political agenda. I am unable to decide if he is similar or significantly different than Adolph Hitler. I believe some answers to this question, although difficult may clarify certain points for me...

Well, Hitler really did not like black people (African, African American, Caribbean, Hispanic, Indian, Middle Eastern...all non-whites were pretty much the same to him), so in terms of their opinions on race, they probably would have nothing in common. In fact, since Obama's interracial background reflects a pollution of a caucasian bloodline, Hitler would likely refuse to sit in the same room with Obama out of disgust.

On the other hand, if you remove Hitler's racial agendas and apparent insanity, you have his socialist philosophy, where Obama and Hitler have plenty in common.  In Germany and throughout Europe at that time, there were a lot of Jews who came from old money. Their ancestors had been bankers and merchants who had taken advantage of the fact that Christians were not allowed to charge each other interest on loans. As Hitler was gaining influence, he used a lot of class-warfare rhetoric, blaming the depression on those who still had money. He also simultaneously made promises about getting everyone jobs, healthcare, education, and so forth. In order to stop violent crimes, he asked all citizens to "willingly" relinquish their weapons to the government. The Jews were rounded up and sent to ghettos not to punish them for being Jewish but because they needed a place to live while their possessions were sold and the wealth redistributed to curb the depression. The disabled were sent to facilities where they could be cared for in ways their families could not manage, which actually meant they were used in medical experiments until they died. Everyone was given a job, even women who had previously stayed home with their children. Childcare and education were free.

In short, a picture was painted to deceive the Germans into thinking their needs were being met so they would not see the true cost of those needs. I am not proposing Obama has a secret agenda to kill a specific group of Americans, because I really don't know what secret agendas he may or may not have. What I do know is that he is making a lot of promises that have a very high cost, and he doesn't seem capable of telling us how that cost will be covered.

      Violin By Courtney,
Thank you for a significantly comprehensive, enlightning and "Stradivarian" answer!

Any comparison of Barack (Hussein, s*f*w?) Obama, a president who dares to be cerebral and is doing his best for his country *and* our place and esteem in the world to a sick, anti-semite murdering egomaniac is ridiculous on its face and a thinly veiled attempt to (rotflmfao!!!) take this cliche' of an insult seriously.  It's a bogus question with a bogus agenda.   Rush?   Is this you??

here here - I agree with you.  this type of thing drives me nuts.  There is nothing Obama has done that is so bad he should be compared to Hitler.  Good grief.

No this is not Rush, or Getty Lee for that matter; quite frankly it is a serious question expecting some mature dialogue. Thats all.

Okay, the Getty Lee comment is cute, and, if you think Subdivisions is one of their best, a sign of good taste as well.  I wish I could say the same for this faux-question.

Rest assured, I have no hidden agenda for this question; I am simply seeking wise council to shed more light on this...

There is no similarity between Hitler and Obama. Hitler was an egomaniac that wanted to take over the world, destroy an entire race and put himself as the supreme ruler, probably above God in his own mind. He politically maneuvered himself into a position of authority and then grab control of the country.

Obama is the duly elected President of the United States. While you or I may not agree with some or all of his political decisions, we are reasonable assured that our form of government will continue, and our country will survive. President Obama will serve the rest of this term, and he will then be replaced by someone else who may be better or perhaps not. We cannot judge the performance of President Obama today. History has judged Hitler. History will judge President Obama.

      Hi Larry,
Thank you for contrasting the two in a significantly "nice" way...

With all due respect, this comparison is almost insulting considering all the poor souls that were tortured and murdered in Hitlers concentration camps.   I happen to think President Obama is the most inept person to step in the oval office in at least the last century.  But he is not genocidal maniac.  Hitler was a mass murderer.  One who is only rivaled by other megalomaniacs such as Stalin and Mao.  The only remote comparison that can be made is that they both seem to believe in the concept of centralizing power in the national gov't rather than leave it with the people.  But to compare what they have done with their authority is not even a comparison.

Thank you, LandmarkWealth, you do indeed raise an important and valid argument, that the question is phrased in a way that is insulting and actually solicits this emotional response...
