Police officer charged in fatal shooting of unarmed man surviving car accident, will he see jail
The link to the online story is http://news.yahoo.com/ferrell-kerrick-p … 0307.html. I wasn't there, but seems to me an injured man knocked on the door of the nearest home hoping to get medical help. Instead he got shot by police. I do not believe the story of him attacking the police - seems too convenient. But again I wasn't there. My opinion, a police coverup & the likelihood another bully cop kills & walks. What do you think?
I agree with you and think this story from the police version is suspicious - so suspicious in fact that they allowed the cop to be charged and arrested, so maybe *crossing fingers* this time a senseless murder will have to be accounted for.
I see no reason why this could not be yet another case of a police officer going free after killing an innocent citizen. As police become more militarized and unaccountable for their actions, instances like this will continue to take place. The people of the united States have allowed this to happen, however. The people have given up scores of civil liberties in the name of "safety" and "security." Sadly, as this story proves, we have neither.

Here in America we want to respect law enforcers and for the most part I believe many Americans do that yet time and time again we are sorely disappointed with some of their behaviors. I don't see anyone asking this police officer who felt the need to vilify a dead child with a gun target I'm...

If you haven't kept up to date on the issues in Ferguson, here is a drastically simplified version of events:1. On August 9th, a St. Louis County police officer shot an unarmed 18-year-old young black man. 2. The officer shot him SIX TIMES. With a pause in between. The office shot twice,...

Another example of unreasonable (and therefore unlawful) force being used by a police officer who was evidently away on the day they covered "de escalation" at the academy.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R46-XTqXkzE
