Do the citizens of a nation have a moral obligation to serve their own country ?
I pondered upon this question on coming across the fact that a huge number of people prefer migrating and getting settled in foreign lands.
I hope not or else I'm morally flawed.
I feel no national "pride" or anything like that. If I lived anywhere else, I'd feel exactly the same way. Countries and states are just masses of land with invisible walls separating things. It's the people who make them different.
NornsMercy, I see the point in your ideas.
But, what if the government has provided a person everything from the childhood to the days when one graduates from the college, shouldn't there be any moral responsibility towards contributing the nation?
Wake up buddy!, the government stole it all off you in the first place. Then they feed you the bulls**t at school, then you can work for them.Nobody really needs money, but everyone is totally reliant on it.That's the system, they built for control!

Do you think it's the governments right/obligation to make us believe and think a particular way?Is brainwashing by the U.S. government a good thing?Changing our attitudes by laws and misinformation, the government does try and change the way we believe and think. Is this the governments duty?
