    Is government incompetent or treasonous?

In the transformation of America, did Obama mean from a Constitutional Republic to a third world country? Are we moving from the concept of individual freedom to a collectivist society defined by the state? Is the country being divided to diminish and isolate the concept of America and those who honor that ideal?
Is tolerance that, which is to accepted even if it destroys you and your own ideals?

Government is incompetent and treasonous. Obama, the puppet of the elite, has no say, no power. He bails out banks, guarantees no taxation to the superior layer of the US society, gags freedom of speech (every whistler is banned from the US community).
With international agreements, trades, laws individualism disappears in the name of corporative fascism.
The state doesn't define the US but the elite. Personal interests control governments.

max--We are not in full disagreement and I am sure that you can name the "Personal interests" you speak of otherwise your accusations are meaningless. Are you faulting capitalism or fascism, which is not capitalism?

Corporations through lobbies. Who else could personal interests be?

      Your argument rests on ambiguities.

Now that I think about it in a clearer way treasonous is more adequate and realistic because it implies awareness and consciousness. IT IS DELIBERATE. Through the eyes of Justicia (if it was not a chimera) the government would be accountable.

Unfortunately for us, I think the government is more incompetent than treasonous (not that treasonous is a good thing). With all the legal jargon, bureaucracy, and politics, it's made the government into a fat, diseased blob that can't stand on its own legs anymore. I think, at one point, government was a platform for good people to make changes, but it has become such a quagmire that even the best of intentions are squashed.

Nowhere is this more evident than a congress that has been getting paid to do nothing for close to a decade. I believe it's possible to save it, but defenders of the status quo have become so effective at deflecting attention from the real problems that things like gerrymandering get overshadowed by stupid debates about birth certificates.

M.T.--There is a simple criteria for governing this country. It is the Constitution. That document is now difficult to see and it's principle of Individual Freedom even less discernible. The word change means what?

The constitution has amendments; we're constantly changing. Some good, some bad, but it has to happen.

MT--I do not think you understand the difference between Amendment and legislation.  Can you tell me the last Amendment and when it was added?

My point was that no one document (or government) is perfect.

Obviously both just like the UK government, & there doing it intentionally on purpose in order to gain full control of us....A blind man on a galloping horse could see that, & everything our insane power mad leaders are doing to us, we (not me but the majority) are "letting" them do it to us..Because most people are too lazy or too scared to fight for theirs, & other people's rights....Your economy is fubared just like ours is, & who did that to you?..Your power mad insane government, & their big business buddies....Not reptilians etc (lol), just greedy power mad insane people....There's the insane power mad greedy corrupt leaders of the world, then there's the brainwashed collective masses....In between there are a few people who have "left the farm, in order to see the farm" like me, & until people actually stop supporting the big businesses/corporations/bankers whatever that governments are supporting nothing at all will ever change for the better....A nanny state is coming your way just like Britain, Orwell wrote about it & Lincoln warned about it....But who's listening?, no one coz their all worshipping greedy celebs!lol.

Dave--You may be right. The blood begins to boil however, and the king is losing his clothes. Sad days are coming and not unplanned at that. Orwell, Lincoln, Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Franklin, Madison, Churchill and Eisenhower.

What we're doing in the UK buddy is finding out our "exact" rights, as written down "in stone" under Common Law..It turns out we have far more rights & power than they ever told us we had, & a lot of peeps are becoming Freemen On The Land. :-
