Which woman do you think women will vote for president?
Many folks have speculated that a large segment of women are going to vote for Hilary mainly because (she is a woman). Now that Carly Fiorina is seeking the Republican Party nomination I wonder if her run will be viewed in the same light. Something tells me (party platform) will play a larger role in how women vote than a candidate's gender will. It's almost like saying Dr. Ben Carson is going to get 90% of the "black vote" based upon his race. Not likely!
Don't know but I would hope women will just vote for the best candidate regardless of gender, as should everyone else.
Very good answer, Besarien. Thank you for posting it.
I agree. Most people vote for whomever they feel is the best candidate in addition to their party platform. Women have voted for men in the past. Obama beat Hilary in 2008 primaries thereby proving their vote isn't strictly along gender lines.
I would surmise that many women will vote for Hillary Clinton. It is not only because she is a woman but also because she is a staunch Liberal. She is the voice of many women who believe in equal pay in the workplace, the right to choose, and granting full protection/prosecuting rape crimes. Ms. Clinton is view by many women as the voice of the postmodern,21st century woman.
It is highly unlikely that many women will vote for Carly Fiorina to be president.. Despite being female, many women have negative feelings towards Republicans. After all, they associate the Republican party with the GOP. They also view this party as the representation of less modern times and more in line with more traditional values, especially for women in terms of reproductive freedoms and rights. Many women really do not care if Carly Fiorina is a woman because in their minds, she is a REPUBLICAN and that is what counts. They view Republican as being traditional, conservative, and anti-woman.
I completely agree women aren't going to vote simply because of gender. Party platform has a lot of sway. And yet many folks believed Obama got the black vote because he was black! If that's true then Ben Carson will have it now. Not happening!
Mr. Dashing, thank you for selecting my answer. It is greatly appreciated in kind.
The best candidate should win regardless of sex...However, It' s unlikely for me to vote republic.
I just wish Oprah was running. Now she's a leader.
We should be voting for the best candidate who represents the best for this country, not the demographic check boxes that someone meets.

Do you think women should be allowed or are fit to become preachers/ministers?This has been a sore subject in my family.(I think they should). Some people believe that women do not have a place in religion as a minister or preacher. In the Holy Bible, it talks about women being seen and not heard...

Do you think women have more rights than men?I mean, of course, the most developed countries. I hear that men grow resentful of rights being given to women. The assumption is that women have an upper hand.

I am really curious about what other women think; because I've only recently started paying attention to politics since the media is ramping up Trump so much, lately. Before that, I'm sorry... I was not even SORT of paying attention to any other candidate from any party. Hillary is my girl, and she...
