What should we do to Make The World A Better Place?
What do you think we should do? What steps can we take? What do you think we should do to Make The World A Better Place?
The first thing each and every individual needs to understand and truly BELIEVE is the statement we've all heard hundreds of times: "ONE person, CAN make a difference, ONE day at a time."
I say this because so many have the erroneous notion that "I'm only one person....what can I do that will matter at all?" We need to put this crazy doubt out of heads for good.
Not too long ago, between The "H.O.W." campaign (Humanity One World) and the "365 Plan" ( if I remember correctly) introduced right here on HP by our own Bill Holland (billybuc) a good number of us jumped on board to become involved.
We started by writing a hub expressing our feelings and opinions and adding suggestions and advice. More importantly, I know that many of us felt enlightened and encouraged to take action in any way we could, big or small.
I do believe it's that first step. Think, believe, decide, create, share and ACT. Random acts of kindness, volunteerism, Charitable donations, becoming an advocate, are just a few ways "to make a difference."
The simplest gesture of friendship can mean the difference between someone having a great day or a sad day. It all matters. As this spreads, the world becomes a better place;. Try it and pass it on!
Love one another. Remove all causes of pride. And, pray to God. All of these will make the world a better place.

What have you done to help make the world a better place? What do you plan to do?There are so many little things we can all do to make everything work harmoniously. We can compost, recycle, start after school programs, and so on. What have you done for your community? What would you like to do?

This seems to be an issue. There is a forum beating Christians over the head so I decided why not be fair?
