If easy access to guns doesn't impact US gun violence, what are other countries doing so right?
The US has a high rate of gun deaths every year, not just mass shootings. Many insist that the easy access to guns and lack of meaningful restrictions on gun ownership have no bearing on the issue.
If gun violence has no connection to easy access to guns or a lack of strong restrictions on gun ownership then what are countries other than the US doing so incredibly right if their gun laws play no part in their much, much lower rates of gun violence?
Kylyssa, check out this video by Australian comedian Jim Jeffries. It does explain very clearly how we see the situation. https://youtu.be/7OZIOE6aMBk
Brilliant video. Guns are treated like they're some kind of Christian sacrament over here. A woman here in Michigan opened fire on a pair of suspected shoplifters in the parking lot of a Home Depot just last Tuesday and wasn't even arrested!!!
I can't even imagine what it would be like walking into a store knowing that everyone you pass could be armed. Scary thought. I imagine a big opening sale and someone pulls out a gun and opens fire because they are beaten to the item they want.
Because there are many factors that account crime others than guns. Some countries that are armed to the t have an almost non existent gun death rate ie Switzerland and Israel while some countries that have tight gun control have high gun violence rates ie. Brazil and Russia
