If Armed black men took over the wild life center in Oregon. How would the police have responded?

Do you think they would have tolerated that situation as long as they did? If yes why? If not why not?

Of course it would not be tolerated even for a few hours, let alone days or weeks and this would be simply because of the color of their skin. Plain and simple racism and double standards.

There are double standards for people of color. That is a fact. Ignoring this reality doesn't help.

No it WOULDN'T be tolerated at all.  In fact, the police would exert very draconian tactics, including taking some lives while the rest would be incarcerated.   There are QUITE DIFFERENT standards in relation to the race issue in America.  Many times, Caucasians receive leniency for the same acts that Blacks will be severely punished for.

It would have resulted in many more than 1 dead, it would have been covered 24x7 in all news channels and blacks would have been all tarnished with one brush.  None of that happened with the white guy's, (no one deserves to die not even the white guy that got shot) sad but we still have colour based Racism in the world especially in the US.

The standoff would have ended probably as soon as the authorities arrived. They would have shot them down like dogs.

I unfortunately cannot agree with you any more than I already do. This would not be tolerated from people of color.

They would have been much more tolerant, just as they ignored Occupy Wallstreet camping out in parks for months or Black Lives Matter being given space to destroy.
