Is it MORE HUMANE to have an abortion than to have a child that you clearly AREN'T
ready/prepared for &DON'T want? Is it MUCH MORE HUMANE to have an abortion than to endure a forced pregnancy & give a child up for adoption? Is it MORE HUMANE to have an abortion than to have a child in circumstances that isn't conducive to his/her development?
My humble opinion:
For the most part, it is not humane to end the life of a child.
Adoption is an alternative to having the child grow up underprivileged; it has produced many good outcomes in the past.
By the way, pregnancy really should not completely surprise anyone; it is not catching. And only a rape can cause a forced pregnancy. When that happens, adoption may still be better than abortion.
