    There is a story here you will not find in history books. Many Scottish and Irish folk were indentured servants before the Dutch introduced African slaves to the 'Lords' of the deep south.

      You are correct.  However, most people know that the Scots & Irish were ruthlessly oppressed by the English & co-signed to the lowest, abject classes.  To further deduce, many Scots & Irish were used as indentured servants.  I read this.
