What are the major points of conflict between Islam and the West ???
The West has a separation of religion and government, Islam does not recognize such rights AND mandates creation of a government that privileges Islam over other religions (Shariah law).
Islam is contrary to women's rights, from requiring veiling (and culture that permits beating women who don't veil) to jailing rape victims for sex outside of marriage because there aren't four male Muslim witnesses to many legal rules that consider a woman half that of a man, along with making her a ward of a man all of her life.
Islam is contrary to homosexual rights, calling for their death.
Islam is contrary to religious minority rights, because Jews and Christians have to pay a tax (jizya) and live as second class citizens under Shariah law (half worth of Muslims in court, no right to proselytize or have faith public, no right to weapons for self defense). But Hindus, Buddhists and Yazidis are not even able to be second class citizens. They are to be converted, enslaved or killed. During and after the Muslim conquest of India, about 80 million Hindus were killed or marched over the Hindu Kush mountains to be sold as slaves. The name of the mountains means Hindu Killer because of how many died going to Muslim slave markets.
Islam is contrary to human rights because it still endorses slavery. ISIS has sex slaves, and Saudi jurists agree, yes, everything they do is per the Koran and Hadith. Boko Haram took Christian girls to be sex slaves and forced to be wives. Go to Saudi Arabia or UAE, and they take a domestic worker's passport and deny her wages, beating her if she tries to leave and often transferring contracts between family members. It is de facto slavery.
