US secy of state John Kerry’s 3-day India visit to boost bilateral ties. Will it be successful?

I hope so.  India is a natural ally for the U.S. and the West in general.  Since China will seemingly be a military rival for years to come, India can help our defense posture in Asia overall.  With Pakistan's instability with regards to terrorism and Islamists, having a power like Indian in the region always helps.
