What do you think about our "democratic" government?
I believe the rich have ruled this country for decades. I would like to see what others have to say.
We in the United States of America live in a Republic. Benjamin Franklin was asked, "What have you given us, sir?" "A Republic, Ma'am, if you can keep it," was his reply. To begin understanding the difference between a democracy and a Republic the following video could be helpful:
