Why have Trump and Ivanka met with Al Gore, of all people?
Reports state that they met to find "common ground." But supposedly, Trump does not necessarily believe in Global Warming, although he says, he "is open." Ivanka is known to be the most liberal member of the family and has stated she wants to make climate change her "signature issue." Huh? What is going on?
The majority of Americans believe in climate change (cite Gallup, Monmouth University, NSEE, and etc).
I think regardless of Trump's views; reaching out to Al Gore, one of the bigger figureheads for global warming will be received positively by the general population. Whether that was intentional or not, who knows.
To sum the meeting up in Al Gore's words, it was "extremely interesting conversation and... to be continued". Whether Trump intends to adjust his policy or not is something I can only speculate on but there appears at least to be some dialogue. Either way, it is just smoke at this point.
Pretty much, Daniel. Yet, I wonder about the whole "Ivanka" thing. She created "green" jewelry. Chelsea is her friend. As for Gore, he will say anything. I know zero about your politics, but I wonder...
Ethical scientists know that Gore is scum.
I think that since Trump said he wants to release Americas energy ;coal, gas, oil, which is where his 'millions' of jobs will come from, that the #1 guy to talk to would be Gore, the perceived 'leader' of the global warming movement.
Much of the speculation I have seen on Ivanka has pointed back to this article so I would gander at that for one perspective.

Ivan, that makes sense. I can see that.
Daniel, I look forward to reading the article, and I will comment on my thoughts about it.
Thanks guys! You're awesome.

Do those who believe in man-made global warming think that Al Gore is a good representative for...the "Green" movement?

CNN just broke the news of the Washington Post report stating Ivanka Trump sent hundreds of emails using her private account in violation of federal rules. What say you HRC haters?
