What do you think Trump wants to do about immigration?
Will Trump take the country in the wrong direction? What should be done?
He wants to just deport the illegal immigrants who are criminals, not every illegal immigrant. He would never be able to deport millions of people. He wants to make this country safer by getting rid of the bad apples. We don't want the USA to end up like Germany or other countries in Europe that are getting ruined by BS. Unfortunately, people are convinced he is going to go Hitler on us and round up all illegals, and that's not what's going to happen. It's called fear mongering, and too many people are making a mountain out of an ant hill.
As for making the illegals legal, or tightening up the borders, I'm all for that. It shouldn't be a free for all. Like I said, we don't want to end up like Europe. You wouldn't leave your house unlocked, so that anyone could walk right in. It should be the same with our country.
Take care of the poor in your own gates first, before you bring in the foreigners.
Deporting criminal illegal aliens is both moral and rational. If they broke our laws to be here AND broke laws on theft, assault, drugs, they are certainly not the people we want here.
To say "let's stop bringing in refugees who mostly rely on welfare because there are too many Americans not getting help" and "let's stop bringing in low skill immigrants who compete for jobs with the poorest Americans and keep wages low" is the rational solution, not "the wrong direction". When you cannot take care of the poor native born, it is immoral to bring in even more poor you know you can't take care of.

Is it racist to have a concern about immigration?A few of our left wing buddies start shouting about people being a racist when they show a concern about the levels of immigration. Is immigration a question of race or a question of numbers?

This is actually a math question. #RealFact: Over the Long-Run, the GDP Growth Rate is roughly equal to Population Growth Rate PLUS Productivity Growth Rate. Before you say BS, consider this. From 1960 through 2016- GDP grew at a rate of 3.8%. - Population, on the other hand, grew at an...

Trumps speech on August 31 was fraught with lies and miss-information. He should not call it his policy on Immigration, but it should be called his policy on Deportation. I watched the entire speech and it gave me chills. He sounded and acted just like Hitler and Mussolini. Here...

Explain how Trump's Wall will be different from the Berlin Wall or the Wall in Israel. How will it "keep us safe"?

Greetings all, check out this article and if you are so inclined share your thoughts. I think that this Trump guy is a bull in a china shop and is the reason the GOP has so little credibilty with Hispanic and, in general, minority voters. They keep on bringing the same clowns to the big top!...

Do you think Trumps "plan" he released for funding the wall is possible? While I am not a Trump fan I do think we need something done about illegal immigration. Trump released his plan and part of it included stopping wire transfers to Mexicans. Since it is commonly known Mexican illegal...
