How is Gun Control or Gun Ban going to stop terrorist attacks?
They tried to ban alcohol and they even passed an amendment to the constitution. It didn't work and they had to repeal that amendment. Why would banning guns be any different.
We already have sufficient gun control laws, but congress didn't fund the kind of money that would sufficiently enforce these laws. In addition, we have gun running going across our southern border every year. If we ban guns, then that will increase the number of guns coming across the border.
Half the gun deaths in the US are from suicide. Shouldn't the reason for suicide be on the top of the list
The simple answer is that once all the guns are gone then the people in charge won't call any kind of attack a terrorist attack. It will be workplace violence or some new term. After all the people going after the guns are also going after free speech. Maybe one day we will be just like North Korea with no rights (or internet). And just remember suicide isn't illegal. Attempted suicide is.

The shooting in Thousand Oaks is too close to home. I use to work in Thousand Oaks. Our thoughts and prayers are with you means nothing to those who lost loved ones. We are being attacked by domestic terrorism from within by mentally unstable people who have easy access to lethal weapons. Every...

The White House provided a list of 78 terror attacks that it said the media had underreported or not reported. President Trump has told us that the media, for its own reasons, is not reporting these attacks. Some of those attacks include:truck attacks in Nice, FranceParis, France (where apparently...

The NRA leadership (not most of NRA members) currently sees Gun Control as a stark Black and White issue. The NRA et al think that ANY step to keep guns out of the hands of those who shouldn't have them is ipso facto an attempt to keep guns out of the hands of ALL citizens; this is the...

I just noticed something about the Fast and Furious controversy.Leaving aside the question of whether the operation was a good idea or not (I think not), I noticed that the Left and the Right have both seemed to flip-flop on their usual arguments about gun control. The Left usually wants to restrict...
