they are the basic and most important issues and most overlooked issues in India. They could have been our strengths. In a country where 70 % of the population is engaged in agriculture, nothing much has changed since independence. most farmers still look at the monsoons for good crop and apply methods that are age old.
i am surprised that there are hordes of institutes for coaching English language , growing like mushrooms . there are hardly any for agriculture advancements and research. there are millions of institutes to create IAS, IPS and bank professionals, MBAs, Engineers, doctors etc but there are hardly any to develop good farmers.
nothing much has been done for the research on the flora of the country. the same old crops , the same old methods , the same old price(if you compare vis a vis the inflation index),

in a scheme of things if a country is 70 percent agriculture it should transcend that stage and be at least be well attuned to business and technology to have economic growth

India should have a firm population policy so that it can control the population, making sure contraceptive is available to women, and also to uplift the conditions of women like giving them education and priorities

controling has been failed in India, long ago.
what i mean is that if you have a square face. you should try your make up and hair style accordingly to suit your face. you should not try to mould your face to make it an oval one.
