And the hypocritical personal tearing down of Sarah Huckabee Sanders by wanna be comedians sanctioned by the liberal media ?
Someone want to justify the  ugliness and hypocrisy of your liberal news media ?

I am not fond of roasts, but it was just that, a roast like happens every year at this event--not different in any way.

Except that the only real a$$ kissing was for CNN trophy winners , it must have been a low budget comic night  there was very little humor, just a cat fight among the ladies apparently ?   I can see why Trump wouldn't be interested .

I'm pleased you didn't like the roast, horse. That means it was a complete success. tongue  I doubt any of Spanky's voters even knew what was supposed to happen there. After all, they are still ignorant of his past and present corruption.  Or are you? cool

Maybe ....It just the media what-- re-painting itself as  being weakly comedic  when they've sold out their souls as bias mongers of fake reporting .
They are just having a major identity crisis at this point .
CNN's become a third world printing press for dime novels .

From a Faux News perspective you are on the mark, horse! CNN hates America and Sean Hannity is the Messiah who'll save it from downfall.

You and Jack are barometers for Spanky's Gang. We read you precisely. Keep up the good work, guys. smile

WEll let's face it , It IS the end of the White House Correspondence Dinner for the next seven years at least  ,  While the left and their corny disorganised media kissed the a$$ of Pres. Obama and would have coronated Hillary , they seem to  find only hate for Pres. Trump and all of his people , anyone surprised ? Nope ........not in the least , but hey , I don't buy news papers ,news magazines anymore so .....Oh Well their  loss .  Turn of your CNN it will make you more intelligent .

Could anyone say that this would have happened with P.C  Obama at the head Table ?
Wouldn't that have started a cat fight or at least a protest march ?
Is the White House Correspondents Dinner Dead at this point ?

It happened over and over again.  Then, Obama got up and  threw his own zingers.  It's called humor.

I assume you don't like it when Spanky often insults both women and men in seriousness then?  tongue

This is what Trump supporters don't seem to get.  When they said Trump was fit to be president, they implicitly agreed that his behavior was an acceptable component of presidential behavior.  It's acceptable for a president to lie, berate, bully, insult, and degrade.

But, OMG, a comedian was, well, a comedian.  And somehow that's worse.  Go figure.

Sigh.... It is the nature of humor that everyone's "line" is different.  I didn't like everything Michelle Wolf said.  Some of it wasn't funny to me.  However, I am open-minded enough to realize that someone else's line is different from mine.  It isn't the end of the world that Sarah Sanders endured 90 seconds or so of insults.  She works for a guy who insults people all the time and seems to be okay with that, so pardon me if I find this sudden outrage about insults to be a little, ahem, hypocritical.

I watched part of it and learned the only 'P' you're not allowed to grab is Spanky Trump:

If that was a “tearing down” of Sarah Sanders then I think you need to reconsider who you’re calling ‘snowflakes’ all the time.

  6. Aime F profile image73
    Aime Fposted 5 years ago

Also worth pointing out that you consider it “moral depravity” when a comedienne who was literally hired to make fun of people does her job, and yet....

A man makes questionable remarks, totally unprompted, about women on a fairly regular basis and you write it off as “locker room talk”, praise his bluntness, and elect him president.

Might wanna reconsider who you’re calling hypocrites, while you’re at it.

You're speaking in  mirrors Aime , turn all you've said around . If locker room talk offended you , then this should have .

Except his “locker room talk” is actually representative of how he speaks about/treats women on a day-to-day basis and not part of a comedy routine.

He loves women. Can he help it? What does everyone want instead? Someone who's not interested in women at all? If Melania loves him, let it go! He's president now and he's rising to the occasion. Maybe even Melania appreciates that fact more these days … big_smile

I know you’re used to the “but Hillary!” rebuttal whenever someone points out something negative about Trump, but Hillary really has nothing to do with this topic (or me) at all.

No but I saw the Pulitzer's were awarded. So surprised FOX didn't receive any.  Did they go to the Dinner?

Fox probably wasn't invited as they have no honest correspondents or real journalists.

Every day is a roast for Trump. Why go to a roast? To be further roasted? It wasn't something old for Obama. It IS for Trump.

    The roast is way burnt.

Me too, I think it sends a great message to a media that thinks that IT runs America and not the president . That thinks that IT has all the answers to the Special Council , that believes that IT employs the supreme court of the US .
