The IG report just released is damaging...

It begs the question why the media reported Director Comey as a “straight shooter” all along...?
Why did they lie to the people and defend the indefensible?
What is so damaging is the credibility of the people we are suppose to trust to do the right thing...
The requirement to pass the test to become an FBI agent is so stringent, 99.99% of us would never qualify. So the cream of the crop have some bad apples mixed in...

The media also comes off as biased and corrupt.  Where are the Woodwards and Bernsteins of this generation?

Why has this information been kept secret from Congress and the American people for so long?
Was our national security at risk with the release of this information yesterday?
I think the whole oversight process by Congress over these intelligence agencies like the FBI and the CIA and the NSA needs to be re-addressed.

This release puts the whole Mueller investigation into a new spot light.
It is time to put all your cards on the table Mr. Mueller.
What alleged crimes have been committed by the Trump administration that warrants the continuation of this farce?

    Who is this straight shooter...
    http://quillette.com/2016/07/16/fbi-dir … t-neither/

And the same people told us about Mueller as a straight shooter at the start of the independent counsel investigating Trump and Russian collusion...

It is high time to put the “media” on the hot seat. What are they reporting to us and what agenda they are pushing?
Let’s have an honest discussion about what the news room editors do in influencing public opinion...

All along the Clinton Email scandal, we were told the FBI is investigating it...
We have a straight shooter in the name of Comey running it...we can trust in the final conclusion...the DOJ had no influence...  the meeting on the tarmac was just a coincidence. The Obama officials unmasking the Trump staff using the FISA court was beyond scrutiny...
The many leaks to the press early in the administration was just business as usual...

Here is the bottom line. Nothing happen in politics is an accident. It is all planned and orchestrated by people in high places many of whom are unknown to the public. This shadow government are the ones pulling the strings. Creating tension and conflict, causing pain and suffering on people they dislike, and undermining our elected officials and the voting public.

It is time they are exposed for who they are. The fake news is what is dividing our nation. Opinion is fine but presenting “fake” stuff and rumors as news is exactly why we are in such a quandary.  The average joe public cannot discern the real from the fake. Anything goes and no journalism standards anymore. Case in point. The Russian dossier is a piece of op research. It should have never come to light. Instead, it was treated as news worthy and Senators like John McCain was dragged into it...

Here is a simple question even a 5th grader can comprehend...
Knowing what we know about James Comey after last 6 months...his book tour and the IG report of yesterday...
Would any manager keep him on as a valued employee?
Or would he be fired for incompetance or worse insubordination?

It's just the liberal flag of hypocrisy flying high , want to be a fly on the wall of liberal strategists

-"Lets use the Comey firing as ammo for obstruction ,  then deny we did that in the end , we'll get what mileage we can ".   Same for Strock  , McCabe , Page , whoever......"|
        As in ;
-"Let's use these horrible Obama era photos to fight the Trump immigration policy , Oh , we got caught ? , let it drop and say no more ."

Liberal ideology mandates hypocrisy as the main ingredient via public reaction , sensationalizing  media resistance and obstruction.

        No surprises there .

So where is equal justice under the law...?
We are lead to believe an FBI agent can lie under oath, leak information to the press, use private emails for government official business, accept gifts from media, and still have no consequences...
Meanwhile an average citizen like Martha Stewart must go to jail for lying to the FBI...

This report is damning but even worse...the conclusion drawn is outrageous.
If there is no bias here, then there is no bias anywhere...
What else does the IG need to prove one way or another.
Does he want a smoking gun?

We need to drain the swamp from top to bottom.
          We could not do worse.

Mattha Stewart is an "average citizen"?  Dang Jack, where DO you get your info from?  lol

She was found guilty but you don't care as long as the pardons go in Spanky's favor.

            Jack,
The executive summary of the IG report is basically worthless.  Reading the report and more than just the summary will show how extensive the political bias was in the FBI and DOJ.  The report is 500 pages.  The summary is way off.  I think it shows how horrified the left is that they could not get those on the right to follow them.  The animus toward those on the right is frightening.  I'll know more once i finish reading it.  Have you read the entire report?

No one really expected Spanky voters to believe the report if it didn't back up what Hannity and Spanky wanted it to be.  Spanky is already lying about what the report actually says as we've come to expect from him.  Go on back over to Fox News and you'll feel better about it, Mike. cool

So let me get this straight. You want me to have an "honest discussion" with somebody who follows a man who is a pathological liar? Can you say "irony"?

And you want to see what Mr. Mueller's got and the report somehow puts his investigation in a new light? You know he's made 20 indictments and has 5 guilty pleas, right?

      1. jackclee lm profile image78
jackclee lmposted 6 years agoin reply to this

Yes I do and those indictment have nothing to do with the election and Russian collusion...
I think Mueller investigation is compromised because of how this investigation was started under false pretense and as we learned with this report, by FBI agents that were out to frame Trump...

crankaliciousposted 6 years agoin reply to this

I don't really need you to repeat what you hear on Fox News every night. And oh, just btw, Paul Manafort, who is Trump's former campaign manager, was indicted for conspiracy and money laundering. I'm just kind of wondering, if you were Mueller, and you found enough evidence to suggest that Trump's former campaign manager was conspiring with foreign agents and laundering money, you wouldn't maybe want to look around more.

And please point to the part in the IG report that states "FBI agents conspired to frame Trump" or some such thing.

Once again Jack, how do you know what |Mueller has? And you don't know anything about it whatsoever. Simply wishful thinking on yours and Hannity's part. Just give it up until Mueller gives his report because you don't have a clue!

Don’t you get it? Read the report...
                You’ve been had.
This whole investigation was a setup..
They wanted to stop Trump anyway possible.
                This was the insurance policy...
If there is nothing to begin with, no amount of investigation by Mueller will get any answers.
I have nothing else to tell you.
You csn continue to believe what you believe. It is a free country.
                Good luck.

              Not true.
              *excerpt*

Between at least 2006 and 2015, MANAFORT, through companies he ran, acted as an unregistered agent of a foreign government and foreign political parties.

MANAFORT generated tens of millions of dollars in income as a result of his Ukraine work. From approximately 2006 through 2017, MANAFORT, along with others including Richard W. Gates III (Gates), engaged in a scheme to hide the Ukraine income from United States authorities, while enjoying the use of the money.

Between in or around 2006 and 2017, both dates being approximate and inclusive, in the District of Columbia and elsewhere, MANAFORT and others devised and intended to devise, and executed and attempted to execute, a scheme and artifice to defraud, and to obtain money and  property by means of false and fraudulent pretenses, representations, and promises from the United States and others. As part of the scheme, MANAFORT repeatedly provided and caused to be  provided false information to financial bookkeepers, tax accountants, and legal counsel, among others.

              Again, not true.

Most of the indictments have to do with the election:

From in or around 2014 to the present, Defendants knowingly and intentionally conspired with each other (and with persons known and unknown to the Grand Jury) to defraud the United States by impairing, obstructing, and defeating the lawful functions of the government through fraud and deceit for the purpose of interfering with the U.S. political and electoral processes, including the presidential election of 2016.

So what was Trump doing all this time?
Was he in Moscow with golden showers?
                Gimme a break...
The dossier was op research. It was a lie and it was used by the FBI to get the FISA court approval  to get to Trump employees and survey them and later unmasked them by Obama operatives...
                All of this was unlawful...
They knew it and they did it anyway thinking Hillary would be elected and all this stuff would be buried.
They didn’t count on Trump winning... the rest is history.
You can’t make this stuff up.

Has it come down to this?
Sane people cannot discuss the issues of the day without dragging the media, left or right into it.
We all have a brain...we don’t need the media telling us what to think...
You might believe I watch Fox but the truth is I don’t as much.
I used to watch many shows to get a balance but not any more.
I can spend a little more effort and get at the source without their filters and spin...
I suggest you do the same. You are playing right into their game. They want to divide American people an push their agenda.
            Wise up...

No, I don't like doing the reading for another person who could do it on their own.  Try reading the report and citing something in it to discuss.  That would be the intelligent way to move forward with a discussion.  Try it.
