Do you find it strange Fox News--who had 24 hour coverage of the "invading horde" of criminals suddenly dropped their coverage the day after the election? No, I'm don't either as it was simply a ploy for Trump to get his ignorant base out to vote in the mid-terms.

Since then neither Donnie nor his network suck-ups have dwelled on the subject very little. Do you feel used by this false ploy, or is it simply par for the course for this cretin?

Has Trump build the wall yet?
Of course not. He couldn't care less. Immigration is only a subject when there are elections. When in power it's not as important as reducing taxes for the 1%. Only stuff that's to do with money is important in politics. All the other subjects like gay rights, abortion, education, immigration are secondary subjects and great diversions of the real politics. Great to tweet about and make news.
Let the people argue and squabble about those secondary subjects. In the mean time the money is divided without much attention of the news.

"And Mexico will pay for it," was the lie DT told and his base bought it like the fools they are. Just one lie in many thousands since the cretin took office.

There was an election coming...that's why President Trump tried so hard to fix DACA, beefed up border security, began the process of building a wall and began following the law by restraining them rather than turning them loose as President.  Because it was an election year.

But you forgot when Donnie lied once more and turned down a bipartisan DACA bill which would have given him at least some funding for his ridiculous wall, Dan. "Give me a bill and I'll sign it," he lied as usual.

Funny , You better watch more Fox News , This morning there are 7,000 people from Mexico city area moving in trucks towards our southern border in trucks  , What's CNN say ? Rachel Maddow ? The View ?

OH that's it , You're watching the Whoopi View .

I suppose our soldiers will take these violent immigrants down quickly before they start murdering all of the border guards. Go USA!  tongue

Wonder how many Muslim terrorists they'll find, Ed? Care to make a wild guess?

  3. profile image0
    Ed Fisherposted 4 years ago

Randy , Each and everyone of the immigrants approaching our southern borders will already have broken US laws by showing up over the line , Who cares how many "terrorists " there are in however many show up .     Extremely few of them will get asylum to begin with in fact ,  if they are picked up illegally entering , they are then NOT eligible for asylum .

Trump is doing what Obama , Bush's ,Clinton's , Reagan and Carter, Ford and Nixon  only talked about doing ;  Watch closely as REAL constitutional protection of our borders happens with a REAL leader .  Advice; say goodbye to your yard worker and buy a push mower .

Your idol claimed they were terrorists and many gang members in the group, Ed. Are you calling him a liar?  Or do you actually take his word for it?

It remains to be seen what our military actually does in this Trump hoax to frighten his base, but we'll be watching, right?

From what I've read, they're putting up fencing and erecting tents for themselves to live in. Expensive fence builders, eh?

        1. Randy Godwin profile image61
Randy Godwinposted 4 years agoin reply to this

Yes it is an expensive "field trip" for our military, Pretty. Waste of time in my opinion!

So please in all you guys military brilliance tell us all how using the military makes them "expensive fence builders ", are we not paying the military anyway ?

Let them pave the roads and improve our infrastructure then. And they can gather the produce the migrants won't be able too. Good idea, ED!  tongue

Well somebody has those immigrants all lined up for liberal career advancements , maybe they can do your dishes ,  mop your barroom floors ,  pick apples , clean sewers ?

Are you seriously suggesting those from the Right don't hire them, ED?

Actually, even though I ran a farm all my life, I've never hired a person of Hispanic birth to labor for me. Not that I would be obverse to hiring any, but simply never needed them. We didn't grow produce though..

Ed, deploying 5200 troops to the border costs money. The lowest estimate I've seen is $110 milion, but most sources say $200 million.

      1. Randy Godwin profile image61
Randy Godwinposted 4 years agoin reply to this

And that's a "conservative" estimate, Pretty!

      2. wilderness profile image95
wildernessposted 4 years agoin reply to this

Hmmm.  That's $38,500 per person.  Seems a little steep, don't you think?

Maybe that includes salary, housing, food, clothing, etc.?  All of which is paid whether they go there or not.

        1. Randy Godwin profile image61
Randy Godwinposted 4 years agoin reply to this

Are you saying the logistics for their normal housing and food transportation would be the same as at a base? And what about sanitary and shelter,. as well as and water supplies.? It's a little more complicated than that.

Basically it's a fake war action which costs the same a real one which indeed fooled many of DT's voters. Which apparently you fell for as well, Dan.

        2. profile image0
PrettyPantherposted 4 years agoin reply to this

Well, sure, but since they can't interact with the migrants and can only build fences (that truly is the only specific task I have read they are doing, other than tending to their own logistical needs), it seems like a waste of resources that would be better used somewhere more appropriate. Presumably, they would be doing something useful if not at the border.

It is my opinion that Trump sent them there because he thinks it makes him look tough to his fans. I'm open to being proven wrong, though.

What, exactly are they going to do besides build fences?  They cannot, by law, be the "human wall" that Trump falsely claimed they would. Maybe I'm just clueless.

Seriously , when did liberals become anything resembling fiscally aware , there us only one point of seriousness to a fiscal liberal , I'm mean sound this out !   The two words not only sound horrible together but when did a liberal EVER care about the cost of a service ?

Seriously , .........."It's going to cost a lot of money ........." And democrats aren't even found in the same dictionary and I looked hard for that one !

    You're killing me here !

What's your point other than inferring how bad liberals are, ED? Have any facts to offer, or are you simply "Trumping" it as usual?

Then explain clearly your party line about the Trump Tax Cuts that you considers so "costly "  that it will be the first thing the Pelosi brigade repeals ? Hummmm?  Admit it , If you were anywhere near fiscally aware.... and you're not , Why would these Tax Cuts be such a disaster for America ?

Because you belong to the addiction party of entitlements.

No paranoia here , what is it you don't get about constitutional law , Oh I get it ,......the  law only matters when it protects your ideological flaws ? Otherwise ignore them .

No, you never get it, ED. If you're not paranoid, then why the lack of personal info on your profile bio? Seems a bit much for such a brave outspoken trumpster. Why is that?

It's funny. The left said don't worry. They are now expecting 9000 people in Tijuana soon. Tijuana is protesting the 'invasion'. But, the left still says "what?"

The left said it was mostly women and children. No truthful source still supports that claim. The video footage can't lie. The left still doesn't get it.

We cannot sustain open borders. We have to get a handle on the problem. I, for one, think Trump has done a stellar job of highlighting the situation in such a way as to put the fire to the feet of Congress in hopes they will finally stop twiddling their thumbs and act. Create fair and sustainable laws.

Who is "the left"? According to you, "the left" said:

      "don't worry"
      " what?"
"it was mostly women and children"

Also, according to you "the left":
      "still doesn't get it"

Do you have some sources explaining who "the left" is and when "the left" said these things? Because I sure haven't seen anyone named "the left" saying anything at all. I mustve missed it.
