In the aftermath of the Mueller report, some of my friends make the case against Trump by saying even if he was not colluding with Russia, he is unfit to be president from his many lies and moral failings and mis treatment of women...

Here is my response to them. That ship have sailed ever since Bill Clinton. He was the one that broke the back of morality of our President. He was impeached and later became more popular than ever...after he left office.

It does beg the question, what do we expect from our leaders?

Do we want a role model like a boy scout?
Do we want a compassionate leader like Bush Senior?
Do we want a red blooded cowboy like Reagan?
Do we want an intellectual law professor like Obama?
Do we want a womenizer like Clintion?

Or do we want a businessman like Trump?

    What determines success?
    Real GDP growth?
    Nobel peace prize?
    Jobs?
    Stock index?
    Trade deals?
    Denuclearization?
    Climate change reduction?

    So many questions...so few answers.

Which did more damage to our nation?
    1. Benghazi where 4 Americans including an embassor died?
    Or
    2. Mueller investigation into Russian collusion?

In the big scheme of things 4 dead ambassadors don't matter much.  What matters far more was what was done to protect them and the public, American and otherwise, reaction to that effort.

Same for the investigation; an FBI investigation into illegal foreign events doesn't matter much.  What matters far more is that the entire effort of the US government was used to persecute (yes, the spelling is correct) citizens for no more reason than they were connected, however loosely, to the winning candidate for the presidency.  That it is now politically and legally all right to use the FBI for purely political purposes says a lot, and all of it is damaging.  J Edgar Hoover's ghost returned, perhaps.

We want honest representation. We want them to protect us by following the laws and spirit of the Constitution of the United States.

We want them to serve and then GET OUT!
We do not want them to make careers of being politicians.
We want them to think of The People and not themselves and their bank accounts.

    What is Trump doing?
He is thinking about the economic health of the nation. He is thinking of the ability of the people to survive through the free-market and their happiness within in a free society.
He continues to protect the nation

Its not that hard to understand:

Ability to Survive + Freedom (within boundaries of laws and justice) = Happiness/Joy of Life

People claim that Donal Trump lies and mistreats women ...

    His lies are exaggerations.
His mistreatment of women is in his past.
He has a wife and a son now.
If he plays around with interns, get back to me.,
