The rapid moving Impeachment proceedings have apparently instigated a close look at the present Constitutional Crisis. Wit |Pompeo and Barr resisting furnishing documents and being questioned, it seems the IG is getting involved.

The IG--a Trump appointed official-- has called and urgent meeting with both House and Senate Intel committees. Has the fit hit the shan?  Or is it because I hate Trump? roll

The only "Constitutional Crises" we have is a congress refusing to even make an honest effort to stop the invasion on our southern border.  Money talks, and so do votes; between the two our congressmen and women have decided to ignore their duty, and that's a crises.

I notice you posted this nearly a day ago. I think the fit hit the shan today if it hadn't already. We hadn't seen nuthin' until Trump's temper tantrum at a reporter who asked a followup question.  Then he's trying to implicate Pence in the Ukraine brouhaha, and Pence has left town to avoid having to reply.

Now Barr is trying to accuse Congress of being traitors because they won't back off his dear little tRump. Barr knows better because he's studied Constitutional law or he wouldn't have received his law license. He perjured himself when he took an oath as AG to defend the U.S. Constitution. The way a knowledgeable person sees it is that his perjury is more serious than Clinton's lying to Congress over a little bj. It's really getting interesting, and our so-called "president" is running scared.

I think that would be just fine. She is probably the smartest and coolest head in Washington today. Besides it would be gratifying to see so many piss'd off Republicans. But for that very reason, I would fear for her safety.
