What if it was Trump who leaned toward Marxist ideals and Socialistic policies and was in league with AOC and the Liberals? What if it was Trump who advocated for the Green New Deal?

    Then would you like him?

      Sure

Butt! Trump is considered the worse criminal in history when it comes to being green.

Absolutely not. There are plenty of people running for office who represent one set of ideas or another who are not malignant narcissists who lie, cheat, and bully as a way of life.

This seems so obvious to me. Would you vote for Satan if his politics aligned with yours?

Just my opinion, but we haven't seen anything but lying, cheating, bullying narcissists run in either major party for decades.  (Consider that it takes a narcissist to think that they are better than anyone else at running a nation of 320 million people.)

Mirriam Webster defines "malignant" as: " evil in nature, influence, or effect : INJURIOUS"

Thus we can even use the term "malignant", if a little loosely, in describing the Democrat offerings as they are all out to promote programs that are very injurious to the country.

Good point! Programs, policies and promises delivered don’t lie. Look past personalities and to results and it is easy to see who wants to make America great and who wants to make America mediocre.

America's Constitution must be understood, relied upon and followed.
    Period.

Or America will slip into non-existence, as we have known it.

At this point, Biden should step out of the race. He incompetent and corrupt as well. His circle's policies are in league with the demise of America.

We are not, and will never be a socialist/communist country.
    Socialism Kills.

Utopia is defined as that which can NEVER be!

Keep hold of the republican principles which give the people representation.

    Who represents the people?

    Biden?
Who tricks and fools the people?
    For his own power
and the power of his party?

Get past the personality of the POTUS and give him four more years to have peace and prosperity.

Is there something wrong with a percolating economy and a peaceful world where we are not in wars for oil or open to terrorists, drug smugglers and humans trafficking on the border?

Definitely not Trump. He has the whole world looking down at us and laughing.
Our prosperity is just an illusion. We are dying of COVID, and he wants 50 different versions in 50 different states instead of doing his duty and putting up a united front against the virus. We will be lucky if there are enough of us left to fund a country. The stock market stays down. I converted a savings account to stocks and I wish I had not. I lost $1,000. the very day it converted. So don't ask me for a source of that. I learned by experience.
It is a lie that Biden's plan is for raising taxes on the middle class. It raises taxes on the rich making $400,000 or above a year. I'm not in that category nor do I have any friends who are.
I buy groceries in person not curbside pickup, and I see empty shelves every time I walk into a supermarket. I have to have gluten-free foods. Right now I'm running out of bread and can't find my brand. The bread I do find is inferior and has been on the shelves so long it is stale. Same for GF buns and bagels.
I need to replace a leather jacket that wore out. Last year the stores were full of jackets of that type. I can't find any this year.
At least when the Dems and even previous Republicans like George W. Bush were in power, I could buy necessities. Where do you keep yourself, Kathryn, that you think life is so good under Trump?
I don't see the people having any power right now. It feels just like the stories I've read about the rise of the Nazis and Hitler in Germany.

??? You're blaming Trump for shutting down the country, lack of food and other stuff on shelves and people out of work?

        You have to know better.

You need to explain that to the state governors shutting down their states: explain that only Trump can take such actions and they must immediately cease and desist from doing it themselves.

Then step back and plug your ears; the laughter will be deafening.

You and Kathryn don't seem to realize that real leadership comes from a coordinated program from the White House, that one powerful program to combat the coronavirus is better than 50 states trying to implement their own programs. That includes work, food, travel, medical and other socialization. In addition, a concerted effort can bring down prices of PPEs for all states. It's like a co-op, except a whole country, which is more powerful than 50 states trying to negotiate their own prices. Now who is laughing. Hint:  only the ignorant of whom I'm sure there are plenty, but the intelligent don't care.

The people are in power, don't you know? and Trump knows how to facilitate the people's power: less taxes and regulations: less burden to the oxen and less weight in the cart. It's a simple matter of gravity.

            Biden will be H E A V Y!

Biden's Heavy Burden will be socialism for the citizens of the United States of America, which has a representative government. He will die in office of (a deep unconscious) guilt. Kamala (et al) will take over in (absolute utter, guilt-free) GLEE!

            Who cares?

            I do.

The people are not in power right now. They are helpless. If you mean in power to elect our leadership, we will see who triumphs at the polls.
