The #3 Republican in the House makes the announcement right after news reports that McConnell favors the same.
GOP minority leader Kevin McCarthy admitted earlier that Trump bears some responsibility for the Capitol attack.
If they support impeachment, how will Trump avoid it?
Rep. Adam Kinzinger and Rep. Katko too.
Newly elected Rep. Peter Meijer, R-Mich., said Monday that the president should resign and that he is "strongly considering" voting to impeach President Trump after the Capitol Hill riot last week.
Katko is co-chair of the moderate House Republican caucus. Makes me suspect that more moderates are on the way. But they're probably going to see how the public reacts to these announcements.
On a related note, a Republican anti-Trump group is pledging $50 million in campaign contributions to any member of Congress who votes to impeach Trump.

The result of a self absorbed orange abomination perched in our oval office in an apparent paranoid state facing impending impeachment and the righteous hand of justice to finally be laid upon his wretched being: A rapidly shrinking republican party can’t possibly be a surprise to anyone who...
